NEW YORK - Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that's a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019. Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019, he added. The United States has been our most important destination for tourism to Israel that is inbound. Before the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries every month. Canada, which has 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 in August is not much behind the United States.
